Betta Care Bettas are pretty easy to care for, but they still need attention like other fish. Below are 3 basic Betta Care topics: Water, Water Changes, and What you will need. Water Bettas are pretty hardy when it comes to water, but it still needs to be kept clean! By clean, I mean a 100% water change weekly! They can tolerate Ammonia up until 1 ppm.! They are very flexible when it comes to p.H., Tempature, and Hardness! The p.H. parameters are: 6.0-8.0. The range of Tempature is: 70*F.-90*F. Bettas are so flexible when it comes to hardness, that you don't need to worry about it unless you're breeding! Water Changes Water Changes are pretty easy to do, just follow these simple steps! 1. Put water out to age overnight. Add a little Aquarium Salt. 2. Pour some of the Betta's new water into a small container. 3. Net the Betta into the small container. 4. Dump out the old water, and replace it with the new water. 5. Dump the Betta into his new home. Thats it! You're done with the water change! In a few weeks, you'll be a water change pro! What You Will Need You will need a few things to keep Bettas. Here is a list. A 2 liter or more bowl A small container A net Betta Food Aquarium Salt A plastic plant Gravel A bucket Estimated cost: $40
